Hip Pain

The hip is a very large and complex joint that is very stable but can be a source of lots of different pains. The hip can refer pain into the groin, knee and even down to the foot.

Potential causes of hip pain could be:

  • Osteoarthritis
  • Bony Impingement
  • Soft Tissue Impingement
  • Labral Tear
  • Soft Tissue Tightness
  • Muscle Weakness

Stephen has researched and developed specific rehabilitation protocols for Mr Conroys Hip Athroscopys and Silent Hip Procedures as well as attended International Conferences on the management of complex Hip Disorders. He regularly lectures at The University of Bradford on the post graduate Physiotherapy Masters Module.
