About our Classes
Pilates: Here at Onewellness we offer a wide range of Pilates classes, all led by experienced specialist instructors. We have Physiotherapist led APPI pilates and also a specialist Hypopressive class all aimed at encouraging better posture and improving quality of movement.
STRONG by Zumba: STRONG by Zumba® combines body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training moves synced to original music that has been specifically designed to match every single move, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more.
Personal trainer led circuits: Our 30-minute resistance-based circuit class, which aims to tone and sculpt specific areas of the body, including your legs, bums and tums! All abilities welcome.
Movement Improvement: We’ve designed this medium Intensity Exercise class with the over 55s in mind. It’s main goals are to strengthen, tone and improve your general fitness through functional resistance training and quality of movement. Resistance training has been proven to be the best way to increase bone density and prevent muscle loss as we age.
Beginners Yoga: This class is for complete beginners who want to give Yoga a try. Aimee will guide you through a series of stretches and poses to help make you stronger and more flexible. This is perfect for those who have never tried yoga or for those returning to it.
Yoga for Over 55’s: This class is for the Over 55’s who would like to start the practice of Yoga. Yoga is great for improving strength, balance and flexibility. It is also be proven to help reduce blood pressure and promote relaxation.
Mums & Tums:A class were new mums can bring baby along and exercise safely under the fantastic supervision of our Pre/Post-natal specialist trainer and mum of five Sam.
Pre-Natal:Preparing you for your new arrival, Sam leads this low intensity class to gently help you improve key areas that will help you bounce back quickly after becoming a mum.
New to Exercise We’re all becoming increasingly aware of the benefits of exercise, but where do you start if you’ve never set foot in a gym or you’re unsure if what you’re wanting to do is right or even safe? Onewellness has the answer, Simon our lead trainer will guide you through simple and effective exercises that will help you take those first steps on improving your health and fitness.
Golf Fit This class was created by our lead physiotherapist and keen golfer Stephen, aimed at improving your balance and core control Stephen will guide you through some fun and functional exercises to allow you to get more from your game.
Runners Conditioning class: Our personal trainer led class is aimed anyone wanting to start running or improve the way they run, the class focuses on improving strength of specific muscle groups that will improve speed and also stability. The latter being the main driver! if we help improve your stability, we help reduce your risk of injury!
Met-Con Circuits: A fast paced Metabolic conditioning class! Taking Hiit to another level!! Guaranteed to get your heart pumping and work every muscle, making you fitter, stronger and leaner in record time.
TEEN Gym 14-17yrs: Created to help teenagers exercise and use the gym equipment safely in the knowledge that there is always a highly qualified instructor in the gym. Our instructor will work on exercise technique and build on their existing knowledge of the benefits of a healthy lifestyle inclusive of diet, exercise and recovery and how they’re all linked.
