Mental Health disorders are incredibly common, with it estimated that one in four people globally will be affected by mental or neurological disorders in their lifetime*. At OneWellness, we look at the relationship between the mind-body connection when helping you become A Better You, while understanding the importance that a healthy mental state has on all aspects of your life. With this being the case, here at OneWellness, we wanted to give people an outlet to come and talk about their mental health issues in a safe and welcoming environment, focused on breaking down the barriers to achieving positive mental health. Dr Kamila Hortynska, a chartered Clinical Psychologist, and the latest team member here at OneWellness will be here to help.
Having completed her PhD at the University of Leeds, Kamila is now a chartered Clinical Psychologist and accredited CBT therapist specialising in Mindfulness based interventions. As OneWellness and Dr Kamila begin working together, the aim is to highlight the importance of positive mental-health, and the ways in which this can be achieved.
Kamila says: “In keeping with OneWellness’s ethos, I prefer to take a holistic approach when it comes to general well-being, believing that mental and physical health go hand in hand. I believe that my role as a therapist is to help you understand what is happening and to equip you with practical strategies to overcome or manage your difficulties. We can tailor appointments to your schedule, and they can be arranged at a frequency that suits you.
