It’s time to get well and live well this summer!
This summer at OneWellness, we’re giving teens everything they need to support a healthy body and mind, from teen gym sessions and teen yoga, to teen mindfulness and meditation. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a better you.
Teen Gym 1:30pm to 3:30pm – Individual session £5
Simon, our lead personal trainer, is leading supervised open gym sessions from 1:30pm to 3:30pm. The aim is to improve knowledge of training techniques and help teens to train safely. This will build on their abilities and strengths, and reduce their risk of injury within a gym setting.
Simon is also on hand to answer any questions regarding sensible balanced nutrition.
Teen Mindfulness and Meditation 3.40pm to 4.40pm – Individual session £9
We are delighted to have Dr Kamila Hortynska, a Clinical Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, running this introductory session. This is a great opportunity to learn how to practice meditation and experience different short mindfulness practices. There are many benefits to these techniques, including improved concentration and helping manage distractions or anxiety. They can also be helpful in improving sleep or general confidence.
Teen Yoga 4.50pm to 6pm – Individual session £9
Aimee and Zoe, experienced yogis, will introduce you to the benefits of Yoga and how this will improve your strength, balance and flexibility. In this fun session, they will guide you through a series of poses that you will then be able to practice at home. The classes are designed to complement the earlier mindfulness sessions.
